Drug & Alcohol Detoxification

Many clients need detoxification from drugs or alcohol. The process of detoxification is different for each client and requires individualized treatment. We make the detoxification process as comfortable, smooth and easy as possible. Assessment is based on the client’s history, drug of choice, length of use, age and mental status. The doctor will determine what medications may be necessary for an appropriate and comfortable detox. Generally a client will need a minimum of 3 days of detoxification services upon admission to Wonderland Center. The majority of clients who apply for admission to the Center can be detoxed at our facility. If a person has specific medical issues that may complicate detoxification we will refer the client to an appropriate clinic or hospital in the area.
